In December 2001, with persistently low blood counts, I was diagnosed with HCL.

By January, 2002, I had a week of cladribine in the hospital.  On the fourth day of treatment, I felt so energetic I took a 4-hour walk around campus, pulling my IV pole behind me.  It was worth the scolding I got, when I got back.

My blood counts rose from February to May, when rbc and wbc both reached the normal range for the first time in years.  Sustained physical energy, alertness and lightness of mood had me thinking complete remission was likely. In early June, I felt the old symptoms return--dizziness, head-and-body aches, fatigue, ringing in ears, dullness of mind, and increased salivation.  WBC went from 4.6 to 4.1, MO% way down, others slightly down.  Now the symptoms are stronger.  Some say there's no connection between them and HCL.  If the symptoms get stronger, I'll go in before the month is up.

I'm wondering if any other patients have experienced similar symptoms coincident with the onset/return of HCL.I had Lyme disease in 1996 and 1998.  I work as an arborist and have had exposure to agricultural chemicals.
